The teaching team in the Infant Room provides an abundance of TLC to babies and their parents. We are respectful of infants’ individual schedules, and the classroom environment is specifically designed to assist with emerging milestones. Our goal is to offer a home-like environment, intended to support each child with their individual development. We have a generously-sized carpeted play space, a divided sleeping area, a kitchen, and dining/eating areas. All foods and formulas are provided daily.

I have been at Children’s Village since 1980, making me the longest-tenured staff member. In my amazing career at CV, I have had the opportunity to work in the Infant, Toddler, and Sprout Rooms, plus I have worked in Administration and served on our Board of Directors. I also have a degree in Human Services. I have a wonderful husband and two great sons, who have both gone through CV. I am also a grandmother with two beautiful granddaughters and a wonderful grandson.

I began working at Children’s Village in September 2021. I participated in the Early Childhood Vocational Program at Somerville High School, earning my EEC certification. I have previously worked with both infants and toddlers and I really enjoy it! During my free time, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, my family and friends, and going for walks.

I recently joined the Children’s Village family as a teacher in the Infant Room. I have previously worked as an infant teacher, a toddler teacher, and in administration. I have a passion for childcare and music and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. In my free time, I love watching all of my nieces and nephews, singing, and cooking for my friends and family.

I have been a member of the Children’s Village staff since 1988, and over these many years I have worked in both the Infant and Toddler Classrooms. I have three beautiful daughters and a loving husband. Up until 2012 I was a full-time teacher, but decided to take on the Morning Assistant position so I could have more quality time at home with my wonderful family.

Hello there! I am 22 years old and I have been working with children since high school. The past year and a half has been nothing but great experiences working with infants and toddlers in a daycare setting. I love doing art projects with children and I also babysit outside of school, mainly on weekends.
